Dustin Armstrong

Athletic Director/Head Coach

I grew up in Cleburne, Texas.  I attended Cleburne High School where I participated in Varsity football and basketball. I moved to Austin in 1995, after accepting an athletic scholarship to the University of Texas to play football.  In 1997, I was sidelined by a career-ending knee injury in my first game starting at wide-receiver for the Longhorns. However, this did not stop me from completing my education.  

I graduated from UT in 2000 with a degree in Communications. I joined St. Francis in 1999 as a member of the after-care staff.  The following year, I began serving as one of the Physical Education teachers and coach for volleyball and basketball.  Soon after I took over the role as Athletic Director and Physical Education teacher

In 2002 I married my high school sweetheart.  We have a son, Donovann, who turned one year old in February 2004. 

I believe children learn best through fun and play.  I also believe that hard work and a great attitude take you a long way.
