Pinnacle Project

Each fall, St. Francis conducts its annual giving campaign—The Pinnacle Project. Like most private schools, St. Francis relies on annual giving to supplement the operating budget—tuition and fees provide about 90% of our budget. The Pinnacle Project helps “make the difference” in our ability to provide a quality educational program at an affordable price.

The costs of operating St. Francis, like costs in most businesses, continue to rise. And while we work hard to focus our expenditures on areas that directly affect the quality of the education we provide, many non-discretionary expenses, such as insurance, utilities, maintenance, and benefits are mostly beyond our control. Donations to the Pinnacle Project help us cover these rising costs by supplementing the operating budget so that we can minimize tuition increases.

One cornerstone of our commitment to diversity is our steadfast effort to keep a St. Francis education affordable for even moderate income families. With the help of our donors, we offer over $250,000 in financial aid and discounts to about one-third of our families. We are committed to maintaining our diversity by making scholarship funds available. Pinnacle Project funds also allow us to provide training and continuing education for our teachers, enhancements to our curriculum, library, and equipment.

Your tax-deductible gift to the Pinnacle Project can be made in one payment or as a regular gift on any schedule you choose. Payments can be made by cash, check or credit card. We also accept donations of securities--please contact the Development Office at 512.225-1832 for more information about the procedure for their transfer.
