Magazine Sale

Shop early for Christmas! Plan ahead to renew your magazine subscriptions to benefit St. Francis! Each Fall, St. Francis students have the opportunity to help the school raise money by selling magazine subscriptions to family and friends. The sale is conducted through a national magazine subscription program that features most popular periodicals. St. Francis receives 40 percent of the proceeds of these sales. Students receive prizes for various sales levels, but they can participate as much or as little as they and their parents desire. We do not encourage door-to-door sales except to individuals known to the child. This year students raised about $5000 for St. Francis through the magazine sale.

Book Fairs

The St. Francis library benefits directly from the book fairs held each Fall and Spring. Parents and students can browse through a selection of specially priced books. A portion of each purchase goes to the Library for additions to the collection. Last year over $5000 was raised. Many parents also make special purchases for the library or for teachers during the book fairs. Our next Spring book fair is scheduled for April 18-22. Check the school calendar for dates in the Fall.

Halloween Carnival

Kids and families love the fun of the St. Francis Halloween Carnival! But it is also an important fundraiser, raising over $5000 each year for the school. Through the hard work of our creative and energetic St. Francis parents, a dazzling array booths and activities transforms the school into a Halloween extravaganza. Watch the school calendar for next fall’s carnival and support the school by buying tickets and joining in the fun!

Boxtops for Education

Families can raise money for St. Francis through the Boxtops for Education program by clipping boxtops off of General Mills products and turning them in. Each boxtop is worth 10 cents to the school. So why not clip those boxtops off of products you already buy? They really add up and make a difference to St. Francis!

Schoolpop

By registering with www.schoolpop.com, St. Francis supporters can earn money for the school in the process of their normal shopping, both online and in stores. For online shopping, start at the Schoolpop website and use the links to get to the online merchant you desire, and a portion of your purchase will be donated to St. Francis. Or you can register your credit or debit card, and a portion of your in-store or catalog purchases made with that card will come to the school. Finally, with a Schoolpop Visa card, 1% of all your purchases made with that card are donated to the school. So, while your making purchases you plan to make anyway—why not help St. Francis School? It costs you nothing extra and makes a difference for the children of St. Francis.
