The term “development” refers to all dynamics of a continuing fundraising program (including: capital campaign giving, annual giving, special events, planned gifts, public relations, volunteerism, marketing, grants, etc.).  Fundraisers are only one important piece of an overall development program.

At St. Francis, we are committed to improving and expanding our development program year after year for the purpose of increasing non-tuition revenue in order to continually improve upon all facets of St. Francis School.

Please contact Stella Valdez at (512) 454-0848 or [email protected] if you are interested in becoming involved in this crucial element of life at St. Francis School.

ANNUAL FUND – Each year, we ask our St. Francis family and friends to make a charitable contribution to the school.  The Annual Fund runs from November through mid-December and raises funds that are critical for teacher salaries & benefits, scholarship funding, and classroom improvements.  We continually meet our goal of over $160,000 to offer our students and teachers a bright future.  Please make your donation by contacting Stella Valdez or by clicking the donation tab.  Donations are accepted through June 1, 2021.

THE HOWL-The HOWL is a rollicking good time to spend with the St. Francis community and do a little FUNdraising.  Every 4th  Saturday, in October we gather together to enjoy live music, great food and togetherness from 4 pm – 7 pm.  The HOWL is a fun-filled carnival with fantastic inflatables, imaginative booths and a cake walk like no other.  Be sure to sponsor a booth, buy tickets, t-shirts, and have a great time.  The HOWL raises money for student services, including scholarships, continuing education for teachers, and classroom resources. Thank you to all of our wonderful committee.

ITALY FUNDRAISING-Each year, St. Francis eighth graders get the opportunity to travel to Italy to learn more about St. Francis in his birthplace, Assisi.  Throughout the fall and early spring, the eighth grade class hosts several fundraisers in order to raise money for this important experience.  Look for:  Parent’s Night Out, Cupcake Wars, Wednesday pizza lunch, and other fun opportunities to support our eighth grade.

SPRING CELEBRATION- The Spring Celebration is the annual parent fundraising event for St. Francis.  Each year, the Spring Celebration has a different theme (“Game Show Gala” was the theme in 2019) and raises money for the school.  The evening traditionally includes dinner, drinks, dancing, silent and live auctions.
