I am so excited to be a part of the Saint Francis family! I am looking forward to teaching 1st grade at such a wonderful school!

 

I have been a kindergarten teacher for the last 13th years. My most recent position was at Pease Elementary in Austin Independent School District, where I taught 3 years. I had always heard so many wonderful things about SFS over the years.  When the opportunity arose to be a part of community with such a positive reputation, I jumped at the chance. 

 

I have worked with kids in some capacity since I was in 5th grade. I worked in camps and tutored throughout my own childhood, so naturally, my career of choice was in education! I continued my professional goals at the University of Texas where I got my Bachelor of Science in Applied Learning in Development. I not only teach young students but also work with future teachers. I have had the pleasure of hosting 7 student teachers from the University of Texas as well. Not only do I have a passion for teaching young learners, but also enjoy helping mold and guide our future educators.

 

I look forward to being a part of this amazing community, it's going to be a fabulous, fun filled year!
