My bio here:
I am so thrilled to begin my second school year at SFS. I have taught in many capacities over the years. I actually found my love of teaching when I was a dance teacher but college lead me to a different career path. I graduated from the University of Colorado and moved to Illinois. After years of working in corporate America in Downtown Chicago, I decided to move back to my home state of Texas and finally pursue a teaching career.
I started working at a preschool in Austin while attending graduate school at St. Edwards, where I received my Masters in the Art of Teaching. I worked at Pease Elementary (where I completed student teaching) in several different teaching positions, from enrichment teacher, to reading specialist, to special education T.A.
In August of 2016 I began working at St. Francis as a 4th grade teacher. I felt welcomed by every teacher, staff member, parent, and student, and I knew I had found my perfect fit in this wonderful community. I am pleased to be a part of the 4th grade team and I am looking forward to an amazing school year!
