I began teaching at St. Francis in 2003 and instantly fell in love with the school.  I have had the pleasure of watching my own two sons graduate from St. Francis and experience the joy of learning in such a positive environment.  I have been teaching 5th grade for over 10 years.  During this time, I have taught language arts, math and social studies.  For the last three years I have been the 5th grade social studies teacher.  I have always loved learning about history and as a social studies teacher I have the opportunity to share my passion with my students and teach them about our past.
