20 years! It's hard to believe that I have been teaching at St. Francis for that long.  My journey started with working in the aftercare program while I finished up my degree at Texas State, what was then Southwest Texas State.  After graduation I went to work at another school. Then one day I ran into Donna Pierce (8th grade science) shopping at Central Market and she told me St. Francis was hiring. The rest is history.

 

I had the pleasure of teaching 4th grade before spending over a decade in the Learning Centering as a Dyslexia Specialist.  Five years ago I moved back into the classroom focusing on 5th and 6th grade math.  

 

I look forward to continuing my journey with St. Francis and getting to work with your students along the way.
