Hello Everyone!
My name is Tonya Guillory Johnson. I am a third grade teacher at St. Francis School. I am a true Austinite-born and raised! I went to St. Paul Lutheran School and Austin High School. I was born into a family of educators who instilled in me a love of learning. When you grow up in a family of educators, starting with my grandmother in early child development, you can't help but know what your heart leads you to do. I enjoy working with children and helping them reach for their dreams through their education. I believe every child should be valued and treated with respect. I also enjoy having a little fun while learning. An education should empower a child and help him or her make a positive contribution to our world.

This is my sixth year teaching at St. Francis School and 3rd Grade. I think 3rd grade is the best grade ever. We get to Iearn about the Solar System, Long Division, Cursive, and lots more! We will also enjoy doing some fun projects. I couldn't think of a better place to be than St. Francis School. I am excited about the upcoming school year!
